Springtime is on it’s way and temperatures will rise and the time draws near to antifoul our boats and prepare for the BJRC 2025 startline.
Our first race this season is May 4th. We look forward to seeing many boats out racing, but don’t get caught out, get your boat prep done early and return your registration to the chairman as soon as you can.
Please be sure to mention any changes you have made to your boat that might improve it’s performance. This doesn’t extend to, recruiting a crack bowman or increasing crew numbers, but we do need to know if you’ve swapped out your prop for a folding version, got a new sail of a different size, or removed your inboard engine, table, doors, refrigerator, washing machine or other items that will make your boat significantly lighter. Okay, okay, you might not be that serious about your racing and just come out to enjoy the race as a ‘sail in company’, but some are.
2025 is going to be a great season of BJRC racing!
